A Day of Thanks

100 things I am grateful for. This list is pretty random. But it is honest. Honest in the sense that I am grateful for everything.

In college I had an epiphany.

EOTS
I had thought that I was pretty self-sufficient and capable of achieving anything I wanted to on my own.

Then one day I was looking around me I had a thought. I noticed how much I had and used that I had not created on my own. And did not put there. I don’t make carpet. I can’t hang drywall. I don’t install windows. All the things are here because at some point someone else did something. That later benefited me.

We are interconnected.

We need each other. Could you imagine how long it would take you to make the clothes you are wearing? I mean really make. As in starting from seed to grow the cotton. And all through the process. It is amazing when you stop and think about it because of all the things we don’t think about that surround us.
