I was on life support.
My basic needs were being met through a process allowing for a slow drip of what I needed into my body. It was painful. I wanted to be well but I was barely able to do anything.
At some point I felt like I lost my will to live.
I can’t go on like this I thought. I’ve got to do something to stay alive.
And that’s when I made a phone call.
“My internet is not working properly,” I pleaded. “It is going super slow for some reason.”
When my wife and I first bought our house we had our internet connection up and running before we even purchased a refrigerator. As millennials, the internet is that important to us.
We grew up in a world pre-internet. We suffered through the weird sounds of the dial-up age. We asked “a/s/l?” on AOL IM. We had been along for the ride through all different types of upgrades and improvements of services.
Now it is almost more necessary than water.
Sure people could say they are addicted to it. Do you say you are addicted to food? Nobody bats an eye when people open confess to binge watching shows. That’s a serious. What about all the folks saying on Facebook that they are going to be off Facebook for a while?
All social media has its benefits and disadvantages. I was telling my wife yesterday how I can communicate with my relatives out of state and probably never would have called them otherwise. It’s kinda cool.
Or the other day my sister and her family went to a baseball game in Minnesota. “Look for us on TV,” she texted her siblings. They were in left-center field and Ian Kinsler, former Texas Ranger, current Detroit Tiger, hit a homerun ball on the first pitch of the game. The fans didn’t go crazy because the Tigers were the visiting team.
But guess who got the homerun ball?
And I saw the reply online. I took a screen clip. And sent the happy pic to the fam.
Here is the deal. There are many people out there who recognize the freedoms and opportunities the internet affords us in life. And many more who want to make money from it somehow. I mean come on there are multimillions of dollars flying around cyber space.
“But you’ve got to learn to reach out there and grab it.” – Weezer
And thankfully there is no shortage of ways to learn online.
But until then I’ve got an idea for you that will give you way to make millions online yourself!
From my estimation there is a gap.
A real need.
There are tons of people, like you, who want to be successful online. There is information on how to build email lists, build websites, build squeeze pages, and on and on.
One thing though is there are not many people who have compiled all this into a simple step-by-step guide.
A few have. But not that many.
Also one of the main tips I come across again and again and again… is to find a niche market.
“Niche market.” “Niche market.”
Sounds great. Makes sense, if you know what one is…
If you don’t Wikipedia provides us with “A niche market is the subset of the market on which a specific product is focused. The market niche defines the product features aimed at satisfying specific market needs, as well as the price range, production quality and the demographics that is intended to impact. It is also a small market segment.”
Now that we are on the same page it seems simple enough.
Select a niche and sell to them.
There is not just a “list of niches” out there. You can perform countless divisions of demographics to have an endless amount of market segmentation. But that takes a ton of research. A lot of work to come up with.
Can’t it just be complied for you?
Well my friend, that is what YOU are going to do to make $MILLIONS.
You compile a “list of niches” that you offer for FREE.
“Wait! I thought I was going to make $MILLIONS.”
First you give the list for FREE to get people to sign up with their email. Then you sir or madam now are building YOUR email list for your business. From there YOU will provide specific ways to reach each and every one of these market segments.
You will provide value through keywords. Showing what social media platforms are used most by that niche and how to use the platform best to reach the audience.
What ways will get interaction or reaction?
You will even offer suggestions to your subscribers to what niche they should target.
And when you do, I will be your first customer.
I want to know who should I direct my efforts towards? What type of reader or internet user is being underserved or overlooked? Who is out there that would benefit from my abilities.
Be a match maker.
To quote the great Zig Ziglar, one of my mentors:
“You can have everything in life you want, if you will just help enough other people get what they want.”
And that my friends is what I want for us all so we are not just merely getting by on life support.
