Few things in life are as exciting, anxiety producing, and exhilarating as the possibilities brought forth through uncertainty in the future.
The truth of the matter is that humans like to think they can know certain things about the future.
In order to comfort ourselves we prepare ahead of time.
We make plans.
We try our best to control for eventualities.
Yet we cannot know for certain all possible outcomes.
This creates uncertainty.
This uncertainty can cause anxiety, fear, and doubt.
To assuage these feelings we often times speak about what we think is going to happen.
Predictions are made.
Forecasts are set.
And then we wait and see how it goes.
We can shrink from it.
We can hide from it.
Or we can stand up and face it and embrace it!
